Irrigation for Climate Resilient Agriculture Project

Public investment project aimed at improving the sustainability and effectiveness of irrigation water services and increasing water productivity on family farms located in climate-vulnerable areas of Peru. The initiative will finance the modernisation of communal and on-farm irrigation systems, technical assistance and training for farmers and water user organisations, institutional capacity building, and coordination among national, regional and local entities. The project includes 130 technified irrigation subprojects covering approximately 8,014 hectares and serving 7,767 producer households, equivalent to an estimated 24,128 beneficiaries.
