Peru: First Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC)

In order to comply with Peru's international commitments, the State has formulated its NDCs for adaptation to climate change. These results have been obtained through participatory processes and the production of information throughout the national territory, which have brought together a wide range of state and non-state actors. In this way, the country has made an important effort to build a model for adaptation to climate change based on risk management in the face of the effects of climate change, which contributes to planning and implementing actions aimed at reducing exposure and vulnerability, as well as increasing the adaptive capacity of the different vulnerable subjects of the country in the face of the hazards associated with climate change.
