Description

This program aims to increase agricultural production among rural families in the regions of Amazonas, Ancash, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Huancavelica, Huánuco, Junín, La Libertad, and Piura by improving irrigation systems and strengthening institutional capacity for water management in micro-basins.

Observations

Despite the program's name, it covered regions such as Amazonas, La Libertad, and Piura, departments that belong to the Peruvian jungle and coast, respectively.
