National Program to Promote Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture

The objective of the program is to increase the production and consumption of food in urban and peri-urban agriculture to contribute to food security and surplus. In this framework, based on resolution O61, the project to promote urban and peri-urban agriculture with technological innovation and transfer of capacities in organizational development and nutritional education was created. This project seeks to strengthen food productivity and the implementation of a knowledge management model to strengthen production techniques, as well as incentives for consumption and income generation, and the aim is to increase the production of 8 species of vegetables.
