Description

FIASA is the first financing fund for research and development of agrobiodiversity in Ecuador and Latin America, with the objective of promoting research, plant breeding, seed production and technology transfer programs. Currently, FIASA is financing 14 R+D+i projects of the National Institute for Agricultural Research (INIAP), which are carried out in the institute's 7 Experimental Stations, with the aim of generating technologies and knowledge in strategic items and areas for the agricultural sector. FIASA's strategic areas are: Conservation and use of plant genetic resources (PGRFA). Research, innovation and technology transfer for seed production. Sustainable, sustainable, efficient agriculture
