ESP: Promotion of efficient, low-carbon forestry and agroforestry value chains in Guatemala

Low-carbon agroforestry practices will increase carbon stocks through the growth of biomass in trees and crops, as well as in the soil. Additional benefits include livelihood diversity and the construction of exemplary low-carbon and resilient value chains and communities. The main objective of the NSP proposal is to reduce GHG emissions by a total of 1,764,699 tCO2e/a during the implementation of the NSP.
