Description

A Mexican government initiative that promotes productive reforestation, rural income generation, and social inclusion through direct support to farmers for planting fruit and timber trees, combining environmental sustainability and local development.

Observations

The program is part of the Mexican government's social policy and has been evaluated by the FAO within the framework of the Mesoamerica without Hunger AMEXCID–FAO project, highlighting its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 1, 2, 13, and 15). The exchange rate (17.10) corresponds to Mexican pesos (MXN) per US dollar (USD), according to the official average of the Bank of Mexico for the year 2024.
