Description

The program seeks to contribute to increasing the yields of potato and cassava crops, prioritizing varieties with industrial characteristics. Within the program, the project to improve productive conditions and competitiveness in tubers and roots is carried out, which seeks to increase the production of tubers and roots with certified seeds to obtain higher yields, provide technical capabilities to tuber producers and roots through the transfer of productive technologies, and generate markets for commercialization. By 2024, it is expected to have 12 seed storage silos with certified quality, 11,899 hectares implementing productive technologies for potato producers, and 2,126 plot sprinkler irrigation systems.
