Description

The national program to support the production and collection of Amazonian fruits in the categories of chestnut, açaí, copoazú and majo, with the objective of increasing the income of indigenous and intercultural communities through the sustainable use of forest resources. By 2024, the aim is to increase the marketing volumes of prioritized Amazonian products, improving channels and promoting nutritional qualities. It also seeks to strengthen the capacities and technical practices of producers and collectors of chestnut, açaí, copoazí and majo through the implementation of technical assistance and specialized training processes. Strengthen producer organizations to improve market access, marketing and packaging processes.
