Description

The program has the objective of increasing the productive potential of cultivated cocoa and wild native cocoa in Bolivia, improving production, harvesting and post-harvest processes aimed at the internal and external market. Within the program, the technical assistance and market development project stands out, which seeks to strengthen technical capabilities and consolidation of production, collection and the cocoa market to achieve an increase in domestic consumption and export to special markets based on different strategies. . In addition, support is provided to agricultural production through mechanization in six communities in the municipality of Boyuibe, in Santa Cruz, and the strengthening of the surveillance system to improve the phytosanitary condition of cocoa at the national level.
