Description

The main objective of the project is to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of the agricultural sector in the face of climate challenges. It seeks to transform the agricultural sector towards more sustainable and climate-smart practices, thus reducing vulnerability to climate variations and climate change, improving competitiveness and ensuring a stable supply of quality food. It focuses on the implementation and use of digital agriculture systems and climate services to modernize the agricultural extension system, promoting low-carbon and climate-resilient practices and technologies. In addition, it seeks to strengthen the capacities of producers, technicians and institutions for the adoption and implementation of these technologies and propose new business models that are based on the massive adoption of technologies under environmental, social and gender considerations.
