Cusco Regional Climate Change Strategy 2050

Updated regional management instrument developed through a participatory process coordinated by the Regional Government of Cusco and the Cusco Regional Climate Change Council. It guides climate change adaptation and mitigation through 2050. It includes adaptation measures covering water, agriculture, ecosystems, health, education, tourism, transport, populations and housing exposed to climate hazards, and glaciers, together with mitigation measures for forests, energy, agriculture, waste, and industrial processes. It also incorporates cross-cutting gender, intercultural, and intergenerational inclusion approaches.
