Climate variability threatens food security

2023
Climate variability, rising food prices and global economic disruptions continue to challenge food and nutrition security in Guyana. In response, the Agriculture Development Strategy 2021–2025 promotes more resilient and sustainable agrifood systems through improved management of natural and productive resources and stronger protection of agricultural investments and livelihoods from climate-related hazards.
