The Multiannual Indicative Programme (MIP) for Bolivia for 2021-2024

The strategic objectives of the association between the EU and Bolivia are framed in two strategic areas: 1) Environment, Climate Change and Inclusive Economic Development: Efforts aim to combat illegal logging and reduce negative environmental externalities of economic activities, promote sustainable forest management, halt deforestation and promote deforestation-free supply chains, ensure a sustainable and responsible mining, manage and ensure protected areas and highly biodiverse ecosystems that are home to endangered species wildlife and increased environmental awareness through education. 2) Governance and Human Rights: with a view to consolidating State institutions, ensuring the separation of powers and supporting the implementation of human rights.
