Economic and Social Development Plan (PDES) 2021–2025 “Rebuilding the Economy for Living Well, Towards Industrialization with Import Substitution”

Bolivia’s national medium-term development plan, approved by Law No. 1407 of 9 November 2021. Structured around ten strategic axes linked to the Patriotic Agenda of the Bicentennial 2025, it establishes national development goals, results and actions. Its agrifood components include food sovereignty and food security, diversification and agricultural productivity, industrialization and import substitution, value-added exports, technological innovation, technical assistance, phytosanitary management, productive infrastructure and territorial planning for agricultural production.
