Integral Strengthening Programme for the Camelid Value Chain in the Bolivian High Plateau (PRO-CAMELIDOS)

Observations

PRO-CAMELIDOS was implemented in selected municipalities in the departments of La Paz, Oruro and Potosi. The financing agreement entered into force on April 11, 2016. Programme completion was extended to June 30, 2024 and financial closure to December 31, 2024. The initiative end date is recorded as June 30, 2024, corresponding to programme operational completion. Total programme cost at design was USD 38,762,000: USD 17,891,000 from IFAD; USD 6,826,000 from the national Government/TGN; USD 4,329,000 from beneficiaries; USD 3,902,000 from departmental governments; and USD 5,814,000 from municipal governments. Total non-IFAD counterpart financing was USD 20,871,000. Supreme Decree No. 2851 established that implementation and execution would be undertaken by the PRO-CAMELIDOS Programme Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Rural Development and Lands.
