Observations

The intervention is included among the main 2026 targets of MIDAGRI Budget Unit 013 presented to the Budget and General Account Committee of the Congress of Peru on September 29, 2025. The presentation allocates PEN 445.8 million to irrigation infrastructure and technified irrigation, targeting 16,777 irrigated agricultural hectares and 13,448 beneficiary families. An additional PEN 66.8 million is allocated to water harvesting, targeting 85 qochas, 113 reservoirs, 9,184 conditioned hectares and 11,109 beneficiary families. The aggregate amount used in this record is PEN 512.6 million. USD conversion uses the Central Reserve Bank of Peru interbank selling exchange rate of PEN 3.365 per USD for January 5, 2026, the first available observation of the year in the consulted series, producing approximately USD 152,332,838.04.
