Description

Development and validation of multifunctional bioprotectors formulated with microbial metabolites and natural compounds generally recognized as safe (GRAS), to reduce microbial load and rot-related losses in cape gooseberry and strawberry fruits during postharvest. It includes in vitro trials and trials in producers' storage facilities, a technical-economic feasibility study, and knowledge management and transfer. Its objective is to improve the safety and nutritional quality of the fruit.
