Description

The Program's main objective is to contribute to social well-being by improving access to nutritious and quality food for beneficiaries. The program seeks to support the Federal Government's social policy by facilitating access to low-cost fortified milk for those with nutritional deficiencies. Beneficiaries of the program include children from 6 months to 12 years, adolescents from 13 to 15 years, pregnant or lactating women, women from 45 to 59 years, people with chronic diseases and disabilities, as well as adults over 60 years of age. These groups are served through two modalities: Community Supply and Agreements with Social and Community Actors. The benefits of the program consist of the distribution of up to 4 liters of fortified milk per week for each registered beneficiary, with a maximum of 24 liters per household, depending on the number of beneficiaries in the household.
