Description

The Territorial Products Valorization Program, initiated in March 2019 by INTA, has the support of various collaborating institutions in each project executed in the territories. Its objectives are: to differentiate and value local products, promote territorial animation and preserve local biocultural heritage. To achieve these ends, quality seals, activities in schools and associations, short circuits, festivities, rural tourism, among others, are used. The beneficiaries of the program are associations of producers from rural communities, without the need to be registered in the Family Agriculture Registry, and vary depending on the nature of the local project. Since 2019, INTA has allocated US$3,000 annually to carry out the activities of this program.
