Fecha de inicio: 01/01/2019
Fecha de fin: 01/01/2023

Description

The Economic Partnership Program (PAE), implemented by the Agricultural Development Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture, began in 2015 and is permanent. This program provides non-refundable economic incentives to peasant association companies to co-finance services in business management, organizational development and technical advice. The main objective of the PAE is to ensure the permanence of these companies over time through the development of the business, the organizational structure and coordination with the market. The program has been aimed at peasant associative companies with legal personality and tax life, focusing on those that operate in the field of forestry and agricultural products and services and related activities such as rural tourism, processing and crafts. In 2023, the PAE benefited 149 companies, mostly cooperatives, distributed mainly in the regions of Maule, Araucanía, Los Ríos and Los Lagos. Among the main items are vegetables, processed foods, milk, wine, berries and beekeeping. Furthermore, it was identified that a significant part of these companies are run by women, young people and indigenous peoples.
