Start Date: 01/07/2019
End Date: 30/03/2020

Description

The Sembrando Vida project in El Salvador is an initiative promoted by cooperation between Mexico and El Salvador, with the main objective of promoting agricultural development and increasing productivity in vulnerable rural areas prone to migration. The project provides economic, in-kind and technical support to promote the implementation of agroforestry systems that integrate traditional crop production with sustainable practices. This approach seeks not only to improve the quality of life of rural communities, but also to reduce irregular migration by creating local opportunities. . In addition to direct benefits to farmers, such as monthly support and agricultural inputs, the project also offers training and technical assistance to improve agricultural practices and encourage food self-sufficiency.
