Economic Inclusion Program for Rural Families and Communities (ACCESOS) in Bolivia

Start Date: 21/08/2013
End Date: 30/09/2019

Description

The program seeks to strengthen the capacities of landowners and local autonomous governments. Specifically, it supports the community implementation of agricultural systems adapted to the highly variable conditions of high plateaus, inter-Andean valleys and some lowland areas. Additionally, ACCESOS finances the development of self-organized community businesses to connect producers with markets and create economic alternatives in the rural non-agricultural sector. In particular, it focuses on women and young people. The program also promotes access to financial services, including savings, credit and insurance.
