PRODERI Inclusive Rural Development Program in Argentina

The PRODERI program contributed to improving the quality of life of small rural producers and their families through the development of their production conditions for insertion into value chains and the creation of work opportunities to increase their income, under a focus on gender equity, youth inclusion and environmental conservation. He worked on strategies defined by provincial governments and supported the participatory formulation of comprehensive productive development and market access projects. It was carried out in 17 provinces, and its recipients were families with agricultural holdings, units of indigenous peoples settled in rural areas with unsatisfied basic needs, women, young people or heads of family, and rural wage earners with or without access to land.
