Bogotá District Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Plan 2018–2030

Bogotá's district plan aimed at strengthening the capital city's capacity to address disaster risks and climate-change impacts through risk knowledge, reduction and management, climate mitigation and adaptation measures. Its agrifood component includes a food security and resilience programme promoting climate-adapted sustainable agriculture and productive conversion, local and seasonal food production and consumption, food processing and value addition, sustainable supply chains, market diversification, sustainable public procurement and training for smallholder producers. The plan also includes ecosystem restoration, integrated water management, territorial planning and stronger risk knowledge and institutional coordination.
