Peru: Supreme Decree No. 007-2026-MIDAGRI - Regulations of Law No. 31296, Law for the Promotion of the Livestock and Dairy Production Chain

It establishes financing mechanisms, technical cooperation channels, and alternative investment schemes to strengthen Peru's dairy cattle production chain. It sets out instruments such as the Social Advance Fund, financing programs for small and medium dairy producers, and public-private partnership and state procurement schemes for infrastructure and services. It also introduces incentives for producer associativity, improved sanitary and quality standards for milk, technical capacity building, market linkage support, and genetic improvement of livestock. Implementation, monitoring, and evaluation responsibilities are assigned across national, regional, and local government levels.
