Organic Law on Inclusive Circular Economy

The Organic Law on Inclusive Circular Economy establishes Ecuador's national regulatory framework for the transition toward an inclusive circular economy through ecodesign, sustainable production and consumption, waste reduction and recovery, and efficient resource use. It defines responsibilities for public and private actors, promotes extended producer responsibility, incentives, research and innovation, and includes specific provisions for circular economy practices related to agro-industrial inputs.
