Resolution No. 6 of 2014: By which a Special Line of Credit for Family Farming is created.

Description

A Special Line of Credit is created to promote the financing of Family Agriculture, which will be administered by the Fund for the Financing of the Agricultural Sector (Finagro). For the above purposes, it is understood that the financing of Family Agriculture of small producers is facilitated when the costs of production and maintenance of the productive peasant unit of a small producer are financed, and when the granting of credits to producers who do not have been accessing formal funding sources. Only small producers who intend to finance the production and maintenance costs of their productive peasant unit will be beneficiaries of this Line of Credit. All activities of the working capital line are financeable under this Special Line of Credit, except those that qualify as support services or rural activities. The activity of marketing agricultural products may be financed as long as these correspond to those produced in the economic unit in which the small producer carries out his agricultural activities.
