Law No. 14,284 establishes the Auxílio Brasil Program and the Alimenta Brasil Program to replace the Bolsa Família Program, and defines the goals for poverty levels in Brazil in the context of the COVID - 19 pandemic.

Auxílio Brasil integrates several public policies on social assistance, health, education, employment and income into a single social program of direct and indirect income transfers aimed at families in poverty and extreme poverty, guaranteeing a basic income distributed by the Ministry of Citizenship.
