Condition of roads in the Northern region of Brazi

Forty-two percent of official roads in the North region were considered lousy or bad in 2022, almost double that of the South and Southeast regions, with 18.7% and 22%, respectively (Barreto et al., 2024).
El 42% de las carreteras oficiales en la región Norte eran consideradas pésimas o malas en 2022, casi el doble que en las regiones sur y sudeste, con 18.7% y 22% respectivamente (Barreto et al., 2024).
