7.76 kha of natural forest was lost in Costa Rica in 2023, after having 3.73 Mha in 2010, which represented 76% of its land area (GFW, 2024).
En 2010, Costa Rica tenía 3.73 Mha de bosque natural, extendiéndose sobre el 76% de su superficie terrestre. En 2023, perdió 7.76 kha de bosque natural (GFW, 2024).
