Description

The price of taro rose by 158.93% at Costa Rica's farmers markets between August 2025 and August 2026, while other products recorded sharp increases and decreases. The variations were attributed to excessive rainfall, drought, pests, changes in supply, imports, smuggling, the exchange rate and trade policies.
