Description

Water stress and irregular rainfall limited the growth of Costa Rica's agricultural activity, which recorded a year-on-year change of 0.1% as of June 2026. The coffee harvest fell to its lowest level since 1970-1971 and pineapple yields declined, while bananas, roots, tubers, beef and eggs helped offset the contraction.
