Description
Based on Icafé's 2024-2025 coffee production cost report, the author argues that a profitable business requires increasing productivity to about 40 fanegas per hectare instead of 20. The article also addresses access to agricultural credit, competition in the fertilizer market, technological diversification and sector policies.
