White House: Suspension of Phosphate Duties

The White House published a fact sheet on the emergency declaration and authorization to temporarily suspend certain anti-dumping and countervailing duties on phosphate fertilizer imported from Morocco. The measure aims to ensure a sufficient and timely supply of phosphate fertilizers to meet U.S. agricultural demand and mitigate risks to domestic food production and supply. According to the publication, the suspension would apply for eight months or until the emergency is terminated, whichever occurs first.
