Effects of the Technology Adoption Incentive on Productivity and Market Access

Policy brief of he impact evaluation of the AGROIDEAS Programme, specifically focusing on the technology adoption incentive. It analyzes its effects on agricultural productivity, market access, incomes, financial inclusion, resilience, women’s empowerment and food security among small and medium producers. The evaluation covers the period 2015–2022 and focuses on producers of coffee, milk, quinoa, guinea pigs, avocado and cocoa located in Cajamarca, Amazonas, Junín and Ayacucho. It uses a quasi-experimental design based on Propensity Score Matching (PSM) and ATET, using survey data collected in 2023.
