Promoting Youth Engagement and Employment in Agriculture and Food Systems

The technical report of the High Level Panel of Experts on Food Security and Nutrition (HLPE) explores the opportunities and challenges that young people face in fully engaging in agricultural work and the various stages of food production. It examines their potential as drivers of innovation in farming practices, as well as the structural inequalities that restrict their access to farmland, water, quality seeds, tools, technical assistance, and rural markets.
