Description
The article highlights the graduation of more than 100 young participants from Jamaica’s Rural Youth Economic Empowerment Programme (RYEEP), who received certification after completing comprehensive training in life skills, business development, and agricultural best practices. Supported by the Jamaica 4-H Clubs, HEART/NSTA Trust, and the Ministry of Agriculture, the programme is fostering modern, sustainable, and profitable agro-enterprises with JMD 30 million in startup support. Authorities praised the graduates’ leadership and announced plans to expand the programme to 1,000 participants, positioning it as a leading model for youth agricultural development.
