Description
The new Latin American Youth Coalition for Rural Development was formed during the "Latin American Youth Meeting for Rural Development" held in Palmira-Valle del Cauca, Colombia, on November 15 and 16, 2023. Representatives of 35 associations, cooperatives, and youth movements from Latin America and the Caribbean met to strengthen capacities in agroecology, innovation, entrepreneurship, land access, and political participation. The result was the presentation of the Manifesto for a "Sustainable Future," reflecting their commitment to joint solutions for inclusive rural development, gender equity, and environmental sustainability.
