ENANDES Project: Strengthening Adaptive Capacity to Climate Variability and Change in the Andes

Presentation document describing the objectives, components and strategic partners of the ENANDES Project (2021-2025), a regional initiative funded by the Adaptation Fund and implemented by WMO together with SENAMHI (Peru), IDEAM (Colombia), DMC (Chile) and CIIFEN. The project aims to enhance the resilience of communities in Chile, Colombia and Peru to climate variability and change through the production, translation and timely dissemination of climate information. It prioritizes agriculture and food security, water and energy, and integrates disaster risk management as a cross-cutting axis, ensuring gender-equitable participation and cultural relevance.
