The Integrated Family and Community Feeding Systems Program, formerly known as Family and Community Gardens, aims to expand the self-sufficiency in healthy and nutritious foods, and improve the income of families in cooperatives and rural communities, through the Integrated Family Feeding Systems (SIAF) and Integrated Community Feeding Systems (SIAC). The implementation of Integrated Family Feeding Systems aims to directly benefit 6,000 families nationwide, while the establishment of Integrated Community Feeding Systems aims to benefit 250 individuals across 10 cooperatives. The implementation of Integrated Family Feeding Systems (SIAF) involves the development of vegetable gardens, vaccination of livestock and poultry, improved pasture, fingerlings, and dual-purpose poultry, along with technical assistance and support in garden development.
