WELL-BEING for the resilience of livestock farms

The project's objective is to contribute to the resilience of livestock systems, with a focus on 'Well-being,' by implementing good livestock practices for cattle and sheep based on animal welfare principles (AWPs) through a regional co-innovation platform that enhances the technological innovations associated with AWPs. The project aims to reach more than 2000 direct and indirect beneficiaries within the cattle and sheep production network across the three countries. It also intends to provide knowledge to decision-makers in public policy, non governmental organizations, and the general community in each country. The activities of technology development, validation, and transfer in the field will be crucial through national agricultural research organizations, government agencies, producer organizations, and local universities to reach all beneficiaries and achieve the project's objective.
