RENAGRO: Information and Knowledge Management for the Economic, Social and Environmental Development of the Agricultural Sector

The project seeks to strengthen the national agricultural information system by creating a comprehensive national registry of producers (National Agricultural Registry, RENAGRO), enabling specialized studies and the management of agricultural public policy based on knowledge and evidence. To this end, it collects field information on producers and their agricultural production units, builds an operational infrastructure for continuous updating to process the sector's statistical and geographic information, and strengthens the technological and institutional capacities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.
