Innovation and sustainable intensification for climate adaptation in family livestock farming

FONTAGRO technical cooperation to improve resilience and productivity in extensive family livestock farming in Argentina and Peru. ArgenINTA, INTA and UNALM organised communities of practice and demonstration farms to validate pasture management, animal nutrition and health, infrastructure, irrigation and water supply. Training and collective marketing supported technology adoption and access to local markets. The final report records 100 demonstration farms and more than 20,000 producers reached through training.
