Description

This program is responsible for coordinating food and nutritional security actions with the institutions that make up the National Food and Nutritional Security System (SINASAN) to promote food and nutritional security of the population, with emphasis on children under five years of age, preschool and school children, women, rural and indigenous population, in poverty and extreme poverty. Some of the activities carried out under this program are: Inter-institutional coordination and technical assistance. Monitoring and evaluation of food and nutritional security. Strengthening of governance processes. Technical assistance for the prevention of malnutrition, among others.
