Description

The Argentine National Biodevelopment Program aims to promote and drive the development, innovation, adoption, and production of bio-products within the bioeconomy, including the fields of biotechnology, bio-inputs, biomaterials, and bioenergy, by micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, as well as cooperatives and public research institutions and mixed collaboration entities. Priority will be given to initiatives that focus on enhancing regional development and value addition at the source, with a vision of a circular economy. The program has two components, technical assistance and financing.Some actions to be carried out within BIODESARROLLAR are: a) Supporting biodevelopers in the management of activities related to biotechnology and biosafety of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), other agrobiotechnological products, and bio-products. b) Generating public-private associative processes for investment development. c) Providing financing instruments for bio-product development projects within the bioeconomy.
