The CGIAR Low Emissions Food Systems Initiative, also known as Mitigate+, works closely with key stakeholders in target countries so that they are equipped with the knowledge, information and tools they need to make sound evidence-based decisions as they address challenges in discourse, policy development and food system implementation to reduce. The work of the Low Emissions Food Systems Initiative builds on over 20 years of CGIAR climate research and will be carried out through five work packages: Strategy - Planning for low emissions food systems transformation; Evidence - Data, evidence and tools for low emissions food systems transformation; Living Labs - Living labs for people; Scaling up - Scaling up low emissions food systems; Engagement - Engaging and transforming the agenda.
