The project is part of Budget Plan 0041 for Improving Agrifood Safety. This project addresses the problems associated with the low availability of agricultural food and animal feed that meet sanitary (safe) standards. Serving the national population, which consumes agricultural food from primary production and processing. The project also aims to achieve an increase in the availability of agricultural food and feed that meet sanitary (safe) standards. The activities of this project include; 1. Authorization in the agrifood chain. 2. Sanitary surveillance of primary agricultural foods and feedstuffs. 3. Food analysis service. 4. Agri-food training without considering consumers. 5. Implementation and dissemination of standards 6. Irradiated food analysis services, implementation and dissemination of standards.This project is led at the national level by the National Agricultural Security Service (SENASA).
