Description

The project is part of the Animal Health Improvement Budget Program that addresses the problem of limited access to healthy animals in the market by livestock producers. The program is expected to enable livestock producers to have healthy animals available in the market. In addition, this program includes the national, regional and local levels. In particular, this budget allocation is aimed at protecting livestock producers from the introduction and spread of diseases. This includes the corresponding services, permits and certifications to ensure the absence of diseases that could decimate populations in Peru. The activities of this program include: 1. import control, international transit and internal movement of livestock goods; 2. Diagnosis of exotic and re-emerging diseases; 3. Active animal health surveillance of exotic diseases.
