Eradication of diseases in pigs in Peru

Description

The project implements epidemiological surveillance, vaccination, and sanitary control to eradicate Classical Swine Fever and control Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS), through mobile quarantine control posts and a massive producer training program on biosecurity and disease control. Its objective is to reduce the sanitary risk of pig production nationwide and strengthen institutional operational capacity for surveillance and response.
